Great food. Always has a crowd of people purchasing from them but the employees are respectful and kind. A friend recommended this place to me and I would definitely recommend to others.

Delicious Haitian food. This is literally a hole-in-the-wall place (one orders through a hole in a glass or plexiglass window) which mostly does to-go business , although there is a limited amount of seating capacity and a TV. If you speak French (or better yet Haitian Creole) it will prove very useful because some of the staff don't understand English. Or if you don't speak French or Creole, perhaps one of the customers can help translate for you. Anyways the food is quite good. Street parking. If you get salad with your meal be careful of the little paper bowl of what innocently appears to be "salad dressing" because it is very , very hot. The piclis (spicy cabbage) is very hot also. A very popular place, so be prepared to wait a bit for your food or if you speak French consider calling ahead if you know what you want. There are photos of some of the dishes out front and a text menu above the counter where one orders. However neither has prices and it seems like in reality they have a few dishes they make each day, not everything on the menu, so you may just have to ask what is available and what the pricing is. I tried fried fish with rice and beans, tostones, salad, and piclese and I was quite satisfied with the meal. One can order full or half portions of some items.

This is one of those places you just gotta know what you want. They don't have the same stuff every day so you have to call ahead and ask. But whatever you end up getting, will taste warm and cozy. It all tastes homemade and so authentic, like you're a guest in their home, not a customer. The only con really is the lack of a menu, but otherwise everything is amazing. Expect to pay somewhere around 8-12 dollars for a small or large tray, similar to a Jamaican restaurant. You should know that the large does in fact feed two.
